Dr. Paul O’Malley speaks on Eamon de Valera

Dr. Paul O’Malley spoke on “Eamon de Valera: ‘The Spanish Onion in the Irish Stew,’ His Rhode IslandConnections” in ’64 Hall on March 1, 2017. The well-attended speech was the 3rd annual Providence College presentation in the collaboration between Providence College and the P.C. neighborhood-based Providence St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee. Paul and Steven J. Maurano, Associate Vice President for Public Affairs and Community Relations, have served as college liaisons with the Parade Committee, whose principal representative is Providence Councilwoman Jo-Ann Ryan, also a Providence College alum.
