Andrea Keefe ’03, Assistant Vice President for Development, Providence College
I credit much of my current success to the incredible experience I had at Providence College. The faculty in the Department of History, especially the late Dr. Donna McCaffrey, taught me how to write and think critically. I remember countless late nights researching, analyzing and writing papers – exhausted, but loving the process. After positions in dance and sales, I returned to PC in 2009, and spent seven-years working with faculty and staff developing corporate and foundation grant proposals. Now, I am blessed to work one-on-one with our amazing alumni, and continue to meet history graduates who hold positions in so many different career fields. My advice – choose a major you love and know you can do anything with a history degree!
